Affiliations and Memberships

Healthcare Financial Management Association

DZA has been very active in the local HFMA chapters in the Northwest.  Luke Zarecor is a former President of the Idaho Chapter and Tom Dingus is a former president of the Washington/Alaska Chapter. Shar Sheaffer serves on the Montana Chapter's newsletter and program committees. DZA has several active members in the Washington/Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Oregon Chapters.  DZA provides corporate sponsorship to the Washington/Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming Chapters. 

Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants

All DZA certified public accountants are members of the WSCPA and several members are active in leadership roles in our local chapter.  

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

Several DZA certified public accountants are members of the AICPA.  DZA is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS).  

Governmental Audit Quality Center

DZA is a member of the AICPA’s Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC).  The GAQC is a firm-based voluntary membership center designed to help CPAs meet the challenges of performing quality audits.  GAQC membership requirements are over and above what is normally required of CPAs.  Membership holds us to high standards in performing quality governmental audits and demonstrates a commitment to governmental audit quality.

Aging Services of Washington (ASW)

DZA has a business affiliate membership with ASW.  Tom Dingus is a member of the ASW Healthcare Committee.
