Professional Profile
Luke helped establish DZA in July 2003 and holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Luke has more than 11 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining DZA, he was a manager in a large regional public accounting firm’s healthcare specialty niche. Luke has primarily worked with healthcare organizations. He has worked directly with hospitals, nursing homes, rural health clinics, federally qualified health centers, assisted living facilities, hospices, home health agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Luke has served both the financial reporting and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement needs of these organizations.  

Activities & Affiliations
Luke is president of the Idaho Chapter of HFMA. He regularly attends healthcare associations’ conferences and has received the Follmer Bronze Merit Award from HFMA. Luke is a member of the Board of Directors for the Spokane Chapter of the WSCPA. Luke was also the chair of the Spokane chapter of the WSCPA Not-for-Profit Committee.
