Medical DZA offers medical coverage through Premera Blue Cross and contributes $300 towards the employee's premium expenses. Each year, DZA evaluates its medical plan to ensure we offer employees the best option available to our Firm. The Premera Blue Cross medical coverage also includes a generous vision benefit as well.
Dental DZA's dental insurance is provided by Washington Dental Service and DZA completely covers the premium for its employees.
AFLAC DZA offers it's employees access to three voluntary benefit options through AFLAC. They are: Personal Disability Income Protector (Short Term Disability) Personal Sickness Indemnity Plan Personal Accident Indemnity Plan
Long Term Disability Insurance DZA provides it's employees Long Term Disability Insurance through Northwestern Mutual at no cost to the employee.
Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance DZA provides, at no cost to the employee, $50,000 of Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance through The Hartford.
Retirement Plan DZA currently participates in a Simple IRA retirement plan. DZA matches up to 3% of employees' salaries. The employee is eligible for this benefit upon first day of employment.
Paid Time Off Each DZA employee receives 160 annual hours of Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO accrues at a rate of 6.15 hours per 80 hours paid (excluding overtime.) Employees may also carry over a maximum of 50% of their annual accrual to the next calendar year.
Paid Holidays DZA provides seven paid holidays to employees each year.
Paid Sabbatical Employees are eligible for a paid three-month sabbatical after five years of continuous employment.
Family Leave Although DZA is not required by law to recognize family leave because of its size, it is DZA's policy to offer employees up to 12 weeks of unpaid family leave.
Bereavement Leave DZA will provide employees with bereavement leave, should the unfortunate need arise.
Licenses & Membership Dues DZA will reimburse all employees for their Washington State CPA licenses. DZA will also reimburse the employee for any other licenses deemed necessary by DZA. In addition, DZA will pay for WSCPA membership dues upon the employee receiving their CPA license. DZA will pay for AICPA, HFMA, and other membership dues at the discretion of the firm.
